Getting to Tisno

Tisno is situated half way between the Zadar and Šibenik. The town is spread on a mainland as well as on island of Murter, divided by a 16 meter long bridge. There are two airports which we suggest to fly to if you want to spend your summer in Tisno – Split and Zadar. There are many flights to Split from the UK, like those from Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted in London, Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow. Ryanair flies from London Stansted, Manchester and Dublin airports to Zadar. Once you reach the airport, there are several ways to arrive to Tisno:
- By using Shuttle Tours organized transfer. You can find the offer on their websites
- By booking an organized transfer with Taxi otok Murter
- By taking a public transport (a bus) from Zadar or Split. If you have an intention to do this, we suggest you to take a bus from Zadar to Kapela (a small place on a Adriatic coastway between Pirovac and Vodice) or from Split to Kapela and then call a taxi from Kapela to Tisno. The reason for this is that there is no direct bus line between Zadar and Tisno at one hand – at the other, from Split you can reach Šibenik where there are bus lines to Tisno, but it will take you the whole day to reach Tisno.
